Who or what are the VCCC?

The aims of the Vertically Challenged Climbing Club are to bring together all persons interested in Mountaineering, Climbing, Walking and Outdoor pursuits. We will promote climbing at all levels and seek to ensure the club is run to the benefit of all members. In addition the social aspects of the club are important and all new members are welcome to attend on a regular or when able basis.

IMPORTANT!!!
In order to improve the SMS alerts service further, we request that you re-activate your mobile phone with the VCCC web site once a year - and the time has come around for 2008!
To re-activate your mobile phone, simply text the word "vccc" (without quotes) to the phone number 82772. You will receive a SMS confirming verification within 10 minutes and then your mobile phone is activated once again - it really is that simple!
This is a very simple process, with no cost to you other than the price of one single text message - dependant on your mobile package this will cost you between 0p & 12p.
For security reasons, you will not be able to login to your VCCC account until you have re-activated your mobile phone, so why not do it today?

How do I join?
Please register on this site as an affiliate VCCC member in the first instance.
After registration, you will be invited to attend one or two VCCC events, prior to joining up as a full member. The tariff for full annual membership in 2009 is £15 pa, including affiliate BMC membership. You can see our BMC affiliation certification here.
